The 16-piece set of glazed stoneware pieces in soft white features the distinctive Hammer texture inspired by the patterned metal beakers which are a key element of the décor in Gordon Ramsay’s Maze Grill restaurants. With a hand-crafted rustic feel this set of four 27cm plates, four 23cm plates, four 16cm bowls and four 375ml mugs provides all that’s needed for everyday relaxed dining moments with family and friends. Packaged in a signature presentation box this 16-piece set makes a wonderful gift either for new homemakers or those wanting to introduce a contemporary Maze Grill look for home entertaining.
The Maze Grill collection is inspired by the welcoming, relaxed atmosphere and eclectic decoration of Gordon’s Ramsay’s popular Maze Grill Restaurants in London. Styled on the original New York Steakhouse, Maze Grill offers quality meats cooked to perfection on the charcoal grill as well as fish, seasonal signature salads and a selection of sushi and sashimi. Hand crafted ceramic plates and generous sharing dishes with interesting undulating textures and glazed finishes in warm white and rich blue, offer mix and match options for your home. From simple round plates to rectangular Asian inspired servers and small dipping dishes, these elements are designed to echo Gordon Ramsay’s passion for good quality food shared in relaxed, everyday ‘Maze Grill’ style dining moments with family and friends.
Scottish by birth, Gordon Ramsay was brought up in Stratford-upon-Avon, England. With an injury prematurely putting and end to any hopes of a promising career in football, he went back to college to complete a course in hotel management. His dedication and natural talent led him to train with some of the world's leading chefs, such as Albert Roux and Marco Pierre White in London, and Guy Savoy and Joël Robuchon in France. In 1993 Gordon became chef of Aubergine in London. Within three years he was awarded two Michelin stars. In 1998, at the age of 31, Ramsay set up his first wholly owned and namesake restaurant, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, which quickly received the most prestigious accolade in the culinary world - three Michelin stars. Today, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay is London's longest -running restaurant to hold this accolade, and Ramsay is one of only four chefs in the U.K. to maintain three stars.
